INTRODUCTION

Welcome to my web site. In your search for a therapist, I hope you find one who is experienced in both traditional and on-line therapy. Most therapists have areas of treatment in which they have received special training. As Marriage and Family therapists, most of us have had extensive training in marriage and relationship therapy. This also includes family therapy and family dynamics. Beyond that, each of us often find other areas that interest us as well. As you read on into my web site, you will find that I deal with relationship issues as well as some other areas of specialty.

                                   ADVANTAGES

I have been doing E-therapy in addition to traditional therapy for several years. E-therapy is an excellent option for many people. In general the fees are lower then face to face, traditional therapy services. For many who cannot travel due to disability or phobias, e-therapy provides an accessible and affordable opportunity for doing the work they need to do. There are a variety of other issues that benefit from this type of therapy. I have worked with clients addressing many issues including molest, depression, relationships, co-dependency, dysfunctional family systems and adult children of addicts in relationship and parenting.

                                  HOW IT WORKS

E-therapy and counseling services over the internet provide help for thousands of individuals and couples throughout the world. Phone sessions often help to make the therapy more personal at first. But if that is not an option, over time, e-therapy through e-mail has its advantages. I have been told by some of my clients that they like to print out my response to them and mull over it for days before writing to me. They keep these print-outs as records of their issues they have discussed and the progress they have made. I have worked with several clients for varying lengths of time. Some just need to bounce an idea off an objective person and find quick solutions to some of their issues. Others need more time to work through childhood issues that have plagued them for years and need change at a deeper level.

My clients and I have found this type of work very rewarding and I invite you to take advantage of this opportunity if you have some life changes you want to make.
Areas I most often work in:

  • Marriage and family relationships
  • Depression
  • Childhood molest
  • Sexual and physical abuse recovery
  • Anger management
  • Addiction
  • Adult children of addicts
  • Codependency
